This afternoon's results in the WPL mean the teams around us in the table all picked up crucial points.

Airbus were 3-0 winners over Caersws, Rhyl lost 1-0 at home to Neath who completed the double over the Lilywhites, Aberystwyth won the mid-Wales derby at Newtown by 2-1 and Carmarthen defeated Port Talbot 1-0 at the GenQuip Stadium.

Our next two opponents, Haverfordwest and Bangor City, both picked up points. City just squeaked past Welshpool by the odd goal in five while Haverfordwest were held 0-0 at Porthmadog. Llanelli went nap in a 5-2 win at rock-bottom Cefn Druids.
