Bangor's 3-2 win over Haverfordwest this afternoon pushed us into ninth place in the WPL table on goal difference. The Citizens needed a 79th minute winner from Ashley Stott to kill off County whose hopes of a top ten finish are looking a bit remote at the moment. Bangor now have a goal difference of +9 as opposed to Town's +3 with both sides on 36 points and level on games played (22).

Elsewhere, Rhyl overcame Porthmadog by 2-0, Aberystwyth won 3-0 at Gap Connah's Quay, Welshpool crashed 3-0 at Port Talbot while The New Saints edged out Newtown 2-0 at Latham Park. Carmarthen moved into the top ten following their 1-0 win over basement boys Caersws and now lie six points behind us with a game in hand.
