There was a 6-2 win for the reserves at Belle Vue this evening after they swept aside Rhyl's second string in the Black Dragon Clwyd Premier Reserve League.

Neil Gibson opened the scoring on 16 minutes before Gareth Davies netted a swift hat-trick on 24, 44 and 55 minutes. Further goals followed from Ross Hannen and Alec Williams. Rhyl's consolations came via Seb Walker on 2 and 52 minutes.

In the Welsh Premier League The New Saints went down 1-0 at Gap Connah's Quay in a shock result while at the GenQuip Stadium Port Talbot edged out Haverfordwest 1-0. All tables will be updated tomorrow evening.
