Two long midweek trips ahead
Our postponed games at Neath and Haverfordwest will both now take place in midweek. We travel to the Gnoll on Tuesday February 23rd and Haverfordwest on Wednesday March 10th - two very tough trips to undertake outside of the weekend.
In an email to club secretaries, WPL chief John Deakin said: "I have scheduled matches up to and including Easter week, this leaves further time to rearrange any additional fixtures that may be postponed.
"I realise that there will be a degree of disatisfaction and I am willing to accept alternative dates if clubs can propose a mutually agreed alternative. However, this must be done by Friday January 29, after which the dates proposed in the list will be finally confirmed."
We did try to find alternative dates but could not reach agreement with our South Walian opponents.

I notice that Neath host Port Talbot on Tuesday April 6th! Surely it would have made more sense for us to travel to Neath on Easter Monday and for the Neath v Port Talbot game to be played on 23rd Feb? Also I note Bangor's rearranged trip to South Wales is rescheduled for a Saturday. Mr Deakin clearly said he would do his utmost to rearrange our game at Neath for a weekend. It might sound like sour g[no swearing please]s but surely something can be done ?
