The ground will play host to over 20 artisan craft and gift stalls selling a huge variety of items from jewellery to jam and everything inbetween and there will be traditional fairground game stalls such as hook-a-duck and whack the rat.

In addition there will be a 'sponge stocks' with (hopefully) some very special guests getting a soaking and Point FM radio will be broadcasting live from the event which atarts at 11am and runs until 4pm.

There will also be fun football games for the children and a host of other entertainments. There will be a hog roast available and Town's tea bar and licensed bar will be open for refreshments as well.

At the heart of the event is the great scone championship where we are aiming to find the baker of Prestatyn's best scones and in the afternoon there will be a big cream tea event - to find out more or to enter the bake-off download an entry form by clicking HERE. There are special classes for children so get your pinny on and give them a hand to join in.

There will also be a civic reception for the players and management from Prestatyn Town Council and further details on both events will be posted up here as soon as they are finalised.

Starting on Monday May 27 and running through to Friday May 31, sessions cost £10 per day and start at 10am (drop off from 9.30am) finishing at 3pm (collection by 3.30pm). All sessions are open to both boys and girls and will be held at Bastion Gardens.

1874 Northwich are a supporter-run community club formed after the demise of the famous Northwich Victoria and will play in the North West Counties League next season using Winsford United's Barton Stadium as a home ground.

Operating on similar lines to FC United of Manchester and AFC Wimbledon, Northwich have attracted a huge amount of interest among the footballing public of mid-Cheshire and are expected to bring a large following with them for what will be there first 'away' fixture in their history.
