Town's defence of the cup is short lived as Abderdare Town went on to win 4-2 against eight man Town.
How ironic last season it was a player from Aberdare that helped us win the cup and this season Aberdare knocked us out.
Town's defence of the cup, hit a hammer blow on the 25th minute when Hessey brought down Aber's striker 25 yards from goal, but ref Lewis judged it to be a goal scoring chance and gave Hessey an early bath. Town shuffled the pack with Davies covering in defence, but could not hold out as Aber's right winger gave them the lead.
Then it went from bad to worse, striker Hunt got a second yellow for a clumsy challange on Aber's midfielder and he joined Hessey in the bath.
The shouts from the bench were to keep it one nil till half time so Gibson could work his magic in the changing room, but Aber took the two man advantage and scored a second and made it two nil at half time.
The second half started like the first as Ross Stephens lost the ball in midfield and Aber went three nil up. Town staring at defeat, Parker and Parkinson gave the Town fand hope as they took the attack to Aber.
It paid off, as a Jack Lewis shot came off parker and Town got one back, Town were turning on the pressure and nearly got a second from a Jack Leiws header.
As Town were looking like they were going to pull off a miracle, Hayes was given his marching orders for foul and abusive language towards Aber's bench as they were time wasting.
Town down to eight men could have thrown the towel in, but when you have players like Parker and Parkinson in the team, they still led the fight.
In the end with eight men, Aber picked us off again and scored again to make it 4-1. Parkinson added a second for town, which ended a miserable day for the holders.
Thank you to the Town fans that made the trip to the South Wales Valleys and thank you to Aberdare Town for making our team welcome.

Town's hopes of doing the double over TNS are dashed as they lose 3-0.
Town fans hoping the Saturday Afternoon kick off instead of the traditional Friday night kick off would change their luck at Park Hall were quikly dashed when TNS striker Matty Williams put the saints one nil up after five minutes.
Town did well to keep the professional outfit to only a one goal lead up to half time.
Second Half and Manager Jones and Director Of Football Gibson must have thought that their half time team talk worked as Stephens put the ball in the net for the Seasiders only for it to be ruled offside.
As Town were pushing for the equaliser late on in the second half, TNS broke twice and New Zealand International Draper, scored twice to make it three nil.
Town now turn their attention next week in trying to defend the title of Welsh Cup Champions. Aberdare Town from the Welsh League are our opponents.
